Vintage Silver Gem Set Pendant Angel Wings Rod of Caduceus.
 
The pendant is marked 925 for sterling silver and is set with lovely approx 30 point amethyst, iolite, blue topaz, peridot, fire opal, garnet and citrine.
 
In the shape of the Caduceus symbol of Hermes or Mercury in Greek and Roman mythology, caduceus represents diligence and prudence, often now used interchangably with the symbol rod of Ascelpius - associated with healing after the god of medicine. 
 
The pendant measures top of loop down 5.7cm x 6.7cm and weighs 12 grams.
 
 The pendant is in good vintage condition.
