Victorian 15ct Gold peridot and seed pearl pendant and brooch.

This is a Victorian 15ct yellow gold peridot and seed pearl pendant. The fine craftsmanship and elegant design is typical of the late Victorian era. The bottom gem is allowed to dangle freely and catch the light from all angles.
 
The purple stone, the green peridot and white pearl are the suffragette colours and hence these pendants are commnly referred to as "suffragette jewellery". The Purple stood for loyalty and dignity, white for purity and green for hope.
