An extremely fine 18ct gold hardstone scarab beetle Egyptian revival seal ring antique, hidden cameo to inside.
 
The ring is set with a lovely hardstone scarab beetle with a hidden seal to the underside of a man with a pot, These rings are similar inspired copies of ancient counterparts found sealed in the tombs of the Valley of Kings in Egypt - made during a wave of Egyptomania that swept over Victorian high society.  
 
 The face of the ring measures 10mm x 8mm weighs 3 grams the ring size is a Q 1/2  and is offered in good antique condition.
