Recently benefited from a service by a Rolex specialist watchmaker. This rare silvered dial is clean and in great vintage condition with all the lume plots fully intact. The hands have luminova Lume.

The jubilee bracelet reference H3 62510h (with 555 endlinks and P5 clasp) in good vintage condition and excellent functioning order. Rarely seen such impressive sunburst dial on a vintage Datejust.
The Rolex Datejust might seem ubiquitous, and there is a good reason for that: it is an excellent watch on all fronts, and an absolute bestseller for the Rolex brand. Reliable, and stylish, the Datejust has it all, and shows how inspired Rolex was when it first released this version in 1945 as reference 5030. This 1983 reference 16030/16000 is obviously now a vintage piece, and comes with two precious features: a quick-set date, and the Jubilee bracelet. This example also shows one of the most captivating and most sought after dials seen on a Datejust; it is a stunning silvered ‘sunburst’ colour which showcases beautiful shades at different angles in daylight, the lume plots have remained thick and intact. The Rolex Jubilee bracelet shows the usual stretch, the clasp dates the bracelet to 1983. This bracelet is original to the watch. This is a stunning vintage Datejust you won't want to miss out on!
Original Dial: The dial is near perfect, with a homogeneous silver colour that you would be hard pressed to find in another example. This sunburst dial looks amazing in natural light from different angles. The dial has very unique highly polished attractive raised polished silver hour baton indexes with lume plots sitting behind making them really stand out from the dial, it has retained all of its lume plots, and they show a nice patina that matches that of the handset. Cyclops lens to the quarter date. The luminous insert steel baton hands and seconds sweep contrast beautifully with the silvered dial. Applied outer chapter ring with seconds and five minute markers.
The dial is signed ‘ROLEX OYSTER PERPETUAL DATEJUST SUPERLATIVE CHRONOMETER OFFICIALLY CERTIFIED T SWISS T ’ with the raised silver Rolex crown logo in the twelve position. The silvered dial is framed with a highly polished fluted bezel which contrasts beautifully with the down turned lugs and end pieces. The dial is in outstanding condition for the age. Luminous has naturally dulled with age.
Original Case: This Datejust offers a nice case, without signs of excessive wear. The fluted bezel is correct for this model. Case measures 36mm in diameter excluding the signed screw down solid Rolex winding crown. Has hairline surface scratches associated with polished metals commensurate with age and everyday wear. Lugs are in excellent condition serial numbered 753**** at ‘6’ dating the watch to 1983 on the official Rolex register. In good overall condition for age.

Original Case Back Cover Inner: The screw in case back is signed ‘MONTRES ROLEX SA GENEVA SWITZERLAND STAINLESS STEEL 16000. In good condition. Service markers present.
Original Movement: The 5-digit reference number given to the watch also indicates the presence of a quick-set date, which is working properly. This movement has been recently fully serviced by a Rolex specialist watchmaker with no further issues to report. Calibre 3035 the high grade quick date set automatic 27 Jewels Swiss made Rolex chronometer movement is in superb condition and keeping accurate time and date. It is evident from the condition that this movement has been well cared for over the years. The movement is signed ‘ROLEX SA GENEVA SWISS TWENTY SEVEN 27 JEWELS A.D.J 5 POSITIONS. Numbered 085*****
The Rolex caliber 3035 is today regarded as one of the best and most reliable mechanical calibers ever made by Rolex. And clearly, Rolex was satisfied with the movement since it had a production run that lasted for 12 years.

Original Rolex Jubilee Bracelet: Signed Rolex Registered Swiss Made Steelinox H3 62510H dating to 1983 - with 555 end links .The 20mm solid steel fully signed Rolex Jubilee ‘D’ link bracelet is complete set with 20 links, this will fit an large 8 inch wrist or can be adjusted smaller within the clasp or by removing links professionally for an extra small size. This Rolex bracelet has the correct highly polished links. In well used worn vintage condition with the usual stretch to the links. Has hairline scratches all over the bracelet associated with base polished metals commensurate with age and everyday wear. Clasp and bracelet are in good functioning order. Please see photographs.
